Abortion

The liberal side of abortion is pro-choice. Liberals think that people have the right to make their own decision about what to do with their bodies. They believe that "we the people" are governors, and the government should protect the safety and health of the people. Abortions can help with that in cases like rape, when the woman's health is at risk, the contraceptives failed, or she doesn't feel like she's ready to raise a child. Having a child is a personal choice, and having abortions be legal stops women from having to go to underground, dangerous abortion places to have them done. Many pro-choice liberals aren't pro-abortion, but just want to do what betters the women.
The conservative side is pro-life. They think abortions should be illegal. Many conservatives believe that abortion is taking a life, or even murder. Abortion shouldn't be a way of contraception, and people should be more careful. A lot of conservatives having religious views that think abortion is against their religion, and that a baby is alive at conception, not as birth, so a human life is being killed with abortion.
I'm pro-choice. I think women should be able to make their own decision of whether or not they can get an abortion. If a woman gets raped or her health is at risk because of pregnancy, she should have the choice to get help. I don't think abortions should be a way of contraception, and that people should take using condoms and birth control more seriously, but overall, the choice for an abortion should be legal. If they weren't, that wouldn't stop everyone from using them; it would just force them to go to sketchy, unhealthy places to get them done.
